SmiLe strengthens the team 

Lund, Sweden – SmiLe Incubator strives to continuously improve its operations to help startup companies and entrepreneurs to commercialize their innovations. We are therefore pleased to welcome Barbara Klein and Jacob Lundgren, who will strengthen the team with their experience in project management and funding. 

 

SmiLe’s project manager group is now being strengthened with the addition of Barbara Klein. She earned her Ph.D. in molecular biology at Umeå University in 2019, after which she has worked as a project manager and laboratory engineer. She has also worked in business development through her own company Kleinlabs. Our project managers develop educational programs and services for the incubator companies and for entrepreneurs who want to develop their projects and business concepts. They also design support tools, such as our latest product, SDG Scan, which helps companies to identify and work with their most important global goals under the UN Agenda 2030 for sustainable development. 

 

Jacob Lundgren will provide support in business and funding at SmiLe Incubator and the angel investment company SmiLe Inject Capital, which is the first Swedish company of its kind to focus solely on promising early-stage life science companies. Previously, he worked with market and valuation analyses of companies at Gemstone Capital, a Danish corporate finance adviser that offers services in Denmark and Sweden.
