Applications open for SmiLe e-Campus – an introduction program to life science entrepreneurship

SmiLe e-Campus is a free, online training program for future life science entrepreneurs, organized in collaboration with GE Healthcare and Philips. The program is open for graduates, researchers, and early-stage entrepreneurs from all over Europe and has received excellent reviews from participants of previous rounds.

SmiLe's 8-week online course, e-Campus, is based on a combination of online lectures and tests. Applications are open to European academics, researchers, and early-stage entrepreneurs who want to learn the basics of life science entrepreneurship—no experience required. There are 30 spots available, and SmiLe is accepting applications until December 4th, 2022.

SmiLe e-Campus is taught by more than 20 experts from SmiLe and its partners, including GE Healthcare and Philips, both significant players in the industry. In the program, they give participants valuable insights into the needs and requirements of the major pharmaceutical and MedTech companies—invaluable information for aspiring life sciences entrepreneurs.

Accepted applicants will receive a broad introduction on business models, corporate governance, financing, IP, regulatory issues, marketing, and pitching to investors. These subjects are relevant to all areas of life science businesses, such as biotechnology, medical technology, health technology, e-health, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics.

Participants from previous rounds of e-Campus rate the program highly, and report that they gained a valuable understanding of the industry.

“We´re very pleased to see how high this has scored among previous participants, and that so many would recommend this program to others. We´re excited to be able to offer this opportunity to yet another batch of aspiring entrepreneurs,” says Lina Olsen Boreson, COO of SmiLe Incubator.

Application deadline is December 4th, 2022, and the program runs from January 16th to March 10th 2023. Apply here: https://www.smileincubator.life/ecampus/
