SmiLe can now offer cutting-edge expertise in HR

SmiLe Incubator handpicks Anna Liffner for a new service as a specialist in “people and culture.” Beginning in September, SmiLe’s member companies will be able to benefit from her extensive experience in staff and organizational issues from both startup companies and large enterprises.

Anna Liffner has previously worked as the head of human resources at the software companies Anoto, inRiver and Qlik. In this capacity, she has been involved in building up personnel systems and developing organizations and corporate cultures.

“This is a need that our companies have, for which SmiLe gladly provides assistance. That’s why we’re extremely pleased that Anna is joining us and that we can now offer valuable coaching, including in organizational development. It is extremely important for startup companies to bring in the right people, with respect to both expertise and personality, when they are ready to start hiring and later to begin to expand,” says Ebba Fåhraeus, CEO of SmiLe Incubator.

Anna Liffner will work one day a week with SmiLe’s incubator companies and alumni companies; the latter are often in the scaling-up phase with growing organizations. She will support entrepreneurs in matters related to recruitment, organization, corporate culture and diversity, as well as leadership development and long-term change processes.

“Working with SmiLe startup companies will be extremely exciting. I’m passionate about helping people to grow and I’m extremely pleased to start working with companies in the health industry in particular, a new area for me that is so important,” says Anna Liffner.
