SmiLe strengthens its expertise in global sales and marketing

Magnus Pålsson

SmiLe Incubator strengthens its expertise in global marketing and sales by engaging Magnus Pålsson as Senior Advisor. He has extensive experience from working with both strategic and operational commercial issues in international pharma, medtech and diagnostics companies.

Magnus Pålsson has an MBA (Dipl.-Kfm.) from the Henrich-Heine university in Germany. After graduating he has lived and worked in many countries, mainly in Germany, Canada, Portugal and most recently in Switzerland. He has held leading positions in sales, marketing and business development at for example Ratiopharm, Mölnlycke Healthcare, HemoCue (Danaher) and the Swiss subsidiary of Radiometer (Danaher) of which he has also been General Manager.

The life science industry is global and marketing and sales are often both costly and complicated so specific expertise is required to handle these issues. Magnus Pålsson will be available for SmiLe members 3-4 days a week.

SmiLe focuses strongly on having a team of very senior business developers affiliated with the incubator, all of them with experience from the life science industry. In total, the members of the SmiLe team have more than 250 years of life science experience to share with the members.
