Time to apply to SmiLe e-Campus – a program about entrepreneurship & life science

SmiLe e-Campus is an online training program for future life science entrepreneurs, organized in collaboration with GE Healthcare and Philips. The program has received high scores and reviews from previous participants for its excellent content and setup. The program is free, offers 30 seats and is open for graduates, researchers and early-stage entrepreneurs from Europe.  

 

30 seats available until December 5th, 2021. 

 

SmiLe e-Campus participants will learn the basics of life science entrepreneurship from more than 20 experts from SmiLe and its partners.   

  

The program offers a broad introduction about business models, corporate governance, funding, IP, regulatory issues, how to pitch to investors, and marketing. The lessons are applicable for any field of the life sciences, such as biotech, medtech, healthtech, e-health, pharma and diagnostics.   

 

GE Healthcare and Philips Electronics, major companies in the field, provide participants with valuable insights of the needs and requirements of the life science industry, complementing the participants´ education with insights from experienced experts in the field of life science. Hence, participants will also have a unique gateway to major industry players early in their lives as entrepreneurs. 

 

The participants from earlier rounds testify to their new invaluable understanding of the industry, and a novel confidence in how to create value propositions and business models as well as how to plan the development process from idea to investment.

    • Smile e-Campus is an online 8-weeks program that requires 5 hours of commitment per week. No earlier experience is required. 

    • It is a free online program with 30 available spots. 

    • Applicants with BSc, MSc or PhD degrees are welcome to apply. 

    • Application deadline is December 5th 2021. 

    • The program runs January 17th – February 11th 2022.
